Holiday & Travel Show 2025: An inspiring start to the travel year
The Holiday & Travel Show Bern, which ended today, Sunday, welcomed over 20,000 visitors and presented the latest trends in travel. Both the exhibition management and exhibitors drew a positive balance on four lively days full of vacation inspiration.
From January 23 to 26, 2025, the BERNEXPO site competently covered all travel needs, from uncomplicated beach vacations to authentic adventure trips. And this was well received: “We are very satisfied with the number of visitors and are delighted that the Holiday & Travel Show Bern has once again proven its importance as an inspiring platform for travel trends. The exhibitors particularly emphasized the high quality of the visitors, who showed genuine interest in what they had to offer. We are proud that countless travel plans have been realized again this year thanks to the Holiday Fair,” explains Exhibition Director Mario Kovacevic.
Colorful offer for all travel requirements
The 170 exhibitors were spread across the themed areas “Bus & Travel” including a special area on camping and caravanning, “Sea & More” and “Mountains & Water”. This meant that the Holiday & Travel Show Bern had the right offer for every travel need. From beach vacations in Europe and hiking vacations in Switzerland to safaris, adventure tours and trips to the Near and Far East - the Holiday & Travel Show Bern offered inspiration for all travel needs. The 300 or so travel presentations were also a crowd-puller and offered visitors plenty of inspiration for their next trip.
Positive feedback from exhibitors

Managing Director Sandra Bruder-Gerber is satisfied: “The Holiday & Travel Show was a great opportunity for us to raise our profile. Many visitors were not yet familiar with us. We were particularly pleased with the great interest in our bike tours, which were very well received by visitors.” The interest in authentic and nature-oriented travel was clearly noticeable at the trade fair - both at international and Swiss destinations. This was confirmed by Reto Amit, owner of Amin Travel, who was back on site with a stand after a seven-year break: “We were excited to see how the Holiday and Travle Show would go for us - and we were pleasantly surprised!
