Belpmoos Reisen 2025: New Destinations, More Choice – But Still Room for Improvement
Belpmoos Reisen 2025: New Destinations and Exciting Perspectives
José Gonzalez, Managing Director of Belpmoos Reisen, looks ahead to the 2025 travel year with optimism. After turbulent times marked by challenges such as the pandemic and the search for strong partners, the Bern-based travel company has stabilized. Now the focus is on growth and innovation: new destinations and attractive offers are making travel from Bern even more exciting.“This year, we’re expanding our portfolio with two new highlights: Ibiza and Corfu,” reveals Gonzalez. Ibiza will be served between August 2 and October 11 in cooperation with Travelcoop via semi-private jet. Corfu is now also available as a weekly connection – a perfect addition to our offer.
Why the Peak Season Matters
“The high season, especially in September and October, is crucial. That’s when we deliberately test new destinations to minimize risks,” Gonzalez explains. “If a route proves successful, we extend the season – as we did with Cagliari. We now offer flights there as early as May.”
The Advantage of Proximity
Belpmoos Reisen consistently focuses on the benefit of direct departures from Bern. Whether it's Ibiza, Olbia, Cagliari or Corfu – travellers can choose between flight-only bookings and tailor-made arrangements. For further destinations like Mallorca, the company cooperates with partners. In such cases, only complete packages may be available.“Departing from Bern is not only convenient, it also saves valuable time and reduces stress. Of course, it sometimes means compromises – such as weekly connections only – but for many guests, the comfort outweighs that.”
Overcoming Challenges, Seizing Opportunities
Aircraft availability remains a key factor in planning. “In spring and late autumn, unfortunately, we don’t have any aircraft stationed in Bern, which limits us,” says Gonzalez. Finding reliable partners is also essential: “If we can’t find an operator for a route, we simply can’t offer it. That was the case with Andalusia – a beautiful destination we sadly couldn’t serve due to a lack of flight capacity.”Despite these challenges, the goal is clear: “We want to launch at least one new destination each year and continually expand our product portfolio. Our long-term plan is to offer the people of Bern not just two or three but a much broader range of destinations from their local airport.”
Travel Trends 2025: Europe Remains Strong
“The desire to travel is back – we’re seeing a clearly rising demand,” Gonzalez explains. “European destinations continue to be in high demand, which plays to our strength as specialists for this region.”With a clear focus on comfortable, stress-free and personalized travel, Belpmoos Reisen remains committed to its vision: a broad range of travel options from Bern that are precisely tailored to customer needs.
