The Holiday and Travel Show 2026 impresses with a colorful and diverse mix of exhibitors and high-quality visitors.
The Holiday and Travel Show Bern concluded today, Sunday, after four successful days at the BERNEXPO exhibition center. 20,500 visitors gathered information from approximately 160 exhibitors about destinations, travel options, and new holiday ideas from around the world.
A panorama of travel dreams
With 160 exhibitors, the holiday fair offered a glimpse into the world of travel. In the various themed areas – complemented by a special section dedicated to camping and caravanning – visitors were treated to a colorful and vibrant array of lovingly designed, inspiring stands that invited them to dream and offered exciting new ideas for every wanderlust and travel style. Whether relaxing beach holidays on Europe's coasts, active hiking experiences in Switzerland, attractive bus tours, impressive safaris, adventurous discovery trips, or cultural excursions through the Near and Far East – the Holiday and Travel Show Bern had the perfect offer for every travel need. A particular crowd-pleaser was the over 300 travel presentations, which were very well attended and, with personal stories, practical tips, and impressive images, sparked a desire for new horizons.
Holiday and Travel Show Bern: Inspiration and experiences for all the senses
Holiday and Travel Show Bern was far more than a classic information platform – it became an experience for all the senses. Visitors could literally dive into the underwater world in the diving tower, receive valuable tips from professionals in photography workshops, or be inspired by travel stories from around the world in the various cinemas.
The culinary experience was equally captivating: specialties such as aromatic coffee from Uganda, rum tastings from Latin America, and other regional delicacies brought international flavors directly to the exhibition halls. A bike course and a bouncy castle were available for children, inviting them to play, explore, and let off steam. The experience was rounded off by a diverse range of food and drink options, encouraging visitors to linger and making the Holiday and Travel Show Bern a perfect outing for the whole family.
